Do I have to get wet?
No, you have the option of being dipped in the water up to your ankles, but you can stay completely dry if you want to.

Are there age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions, only weight restrictions, flyers must weigh a minimum of 90 lbs and maximum of 300 lbs. The yougest flyer so far was 4 years old and went up tandem with his mother. The oldest flyer was 91.

Can I go up with someone else?
Absolutely, as long as the combined weight does not exceed 300lbs. We actually offer a discount on tandem flights.

How high up are you?
The line is 800 ft long, so depending on the weight of the passenger you can reach an altitude of 500 vertical feet. On a clear day you can see the Savannah River bridge which is a 45 minute drive west of Hilton Head.

How long are we in the air?
About 10-12 minutes

Will we see dolphins?
We see dolphins about 90% of the time, usually during the ride out of the creek. Flyers see dolphins from the air alot as well.

Handicap accessible?
We are handicap accessible to an extent. We flew a 91
year old gentleman who used a walker. We also welcome
special needs and mentaly challenged passengers.

Do tandems sit front to back or side to side?
Passengers sit side by side when flying tandem. According to feedback from passengers, flying side to side is more comfortable and also allows for a better view for both flyers.

How do you take off and land?
Our boat was built specifically for parasailing, so there is a "flight deck" that you take off from. Take off and landings are soft and gentle.
